Before history was recorded in books, four wizards, each with the power to control one element of nature, protected a vast kingdom. Strained by years of bitter war, the Kingdom was at last united by a joyful marriage. The King and Queen turned to the Wizards for their wise guidance, and a golden age of peace and prosperity ensued for a brief period of time. All was well and happy for the Kingdom until a tragic magic accident resulted in the death of the Queen. Saddened and furious, the King banned all magic in his kingdom and imprisoned the loyal wizard commandos team in four separate corners of the Kingdom. Without the protection of the Wizards, the Kingdom quickly fell into darkness. The Mad Maker, a struggling chemist, seized the opportunity to wrest control from the King and kidnapped the King’s only daughter, the Princess. After multiple kidnappings and paying off several ransoms, the King soon realized that the only hope he had to finally defeat the Mad Maker and rescue his daughter for good was to free the Wizard Ops team. The first episode of this multi-episodic shooting adventure centers around the Fire Wizard. It is up to the player to help the Fire Wizard free his brethren and reunited the Wizard Ops team. Only with their four powers combined will there be any hope of rescuing the princess and saving the kingdom from darkness.Featuring stunning graphics and easy-to-pick-up controls, Wizard Ops, is the exciting shooting arcade game iOS users have been waiting for. Using the innovative “touch area”, players will destroy any and all enemies in the Fire Wizard’s path without the worries of blocking the action. Wizard Ops to Cast It's Spell on iOS
The first title from developers Phyken, due later this year, Wizard Ops reminds me an awful lot of Space Harrier. If Space Harrier had Michael Winslow (crazy noises guy from Police Academy).
