First off, after Web of Shadows, I was not in any way going to get excited about this game. It's not that WoS was bad, it was okay- it's just that I expected so much more from a comic book tie-in game. You know, no baggage from the movies to worry about, just a pure Spider-Man comic book-type story. I suppose that is what Shadows was, it was just so lacking in so many areas that it kind of got dull after a while.

Spider-Man Noir |
Shattered Dimensions, which I guess would technically be the sequel to last years game, looks pretty good though. The story surrounds a mystical tablet that gets busted up during a fight. It somehow ends up stuck in four separate dimensions and has to be re-assembled to put things right again. Which is pretty much an excuse to do four different Spider-Man games at the same time.
Right now, all four Spidey's are looking great- their universes are nicely detailed and it seems like things are coming together nicely.
I'm going to cross my fingers, while I do that- check out some more new shots after the breakage.

Spider-Man 2099 - always had a soft spot for that book. |
|
Scorpion 2099 - NOT Mac Gargan. |
|
Classic Spider-Man - My guess is that this is the main-part-tie-everything-together part of the game |
|
Ultimate Spider-Man - I guess we're catching him during the 'symbiote' storyline? And is that Deadpool? |
|
Yep |
