Auto: Episodes from Liberty City” brings the action, energy and
acclaimed storytelling of downloadable episodes The Lost and Damned and
The Ballad of Gay Tony to desktops around the world.
The
Lost and Damned is a dark trip through Liberty City’s seedy
underbelly, as outlaw biker Johnny Klebitz fights to keep his gang
together as a rift in the gang’s leadership threatens to tear the
brotherhood apart. In The Ballad of Gay Tony, players explore Liberty City’s high-end
nightlife as Luis Lopez, struggling to balance the temptations of money
and vice against loyalties to family and friends. Both episodes feature a
slew of new vehicles and weapons, and each episode adds new activities
including cage fighting, gang wars and BASE jumping .
Owners
of “Grand Theft Auto IV” can download these episodes individually on
Games for Windows — LIVE, both in-game and through Games on Demand, for
1200 Microsoft Points each (full game required). Both episodes are also
available for download together as the standalone title “Episodes from

Personally, I loved the main GTA4 experience. I thought the story was great, I thought the characters were great- good stuff all around. The expansion packs though, another story.
Even though they both received quite a bit of editorial praise from just about everybody, I played a bit of 'Lost and Damned' and was bored to tears. I just didn't care for it at all, so much so that I didn't even bother with 'Ballad of Gay Tony'- which looked really good and scored higher ratings than a lot of new full retail releases.
Anyway, that's just my 2cents on it. If you haven't played the main game- you're missing out on a great title. If you haven't played the DLC... ehhhhh....
